Would you date a younger guy?

I was reading my friend John Chen's Xanga page and saw his question of the day: "If you are a 23 to 25 year old girl reading this, would you prefer dating someone your age or an older guy?"

The first thing that crossed my mind—Damn, I am not even eligible to answer his question because I just turned 26 on April 6th.

The second thing that crossed my mind—How come I've NEVER dated an older guy?

As a 26-year-old “girl” who went on dates with mostly younger guys, I have to say it's the maturity that matters and really not the age per se. But certainly, there's a bigger chance that the guy is more mature if he is older.

But you know what, I really want to say something nice about younger guys.

Younger guys are energetic and fun, so they make you feel younger too. I also think that guys who would go for older girls tend to be more confident. At least they are not intimidated by the girl's age and life experiences.

Also, younger guys won't act like your dad and tell you want not to do!
